I have been a patient of Dr Looby for over 6 six years for two rotator cuff shoulder surgeries and now a fracture. He and his staff have always given me the very best of care. As a surgeon, he is very kind and also has a wonderful, friendly personality. I have had compIete recoveries. I recommend him to all my friends.
They got me in there before time and everybody was just wonderful I would recommend Dr.Peter Looby to anybody he is a wonderful doctor and he's very nice and his staff is to.thank you for the great shoulder surgery.

Great place to go. Friendly and very caring. They listen to concerns and include you in developing a plan. i refer family and friends to Dr. Looby and the OI.

I'm three weeks past a complete reverse shoulder replacement. Pain is minimal (less than before surgery). Physical therapist says my range of motion is greater than normal for patients at my stage of recovery. Dr. Looby explained things clearly both before and after surgery. Anesthesiologist was also excellent in terms of explaining what would happen.
My father-in-law had been having knee problems for years. I finally convinced him to come to Sioux Falls and see a doctor at Orthopedic Institute. He loved the whole experience he had from the nursing staff to the follow up care, but his all time favorite was Dr. Looby. He treated him with respect and had the problem figured out in no time. He commented that it was well worth the drive from Rapid City to Sioux Falls to have such great care.
The worst doct ever, did nothing for my pain, never wld go back nor wld I trust him & I'm too old to have surgery!!! He's been a surgeon for years nor how do I know how he became one!!! Go to Sanford they are more caring!!! Chad kurtenbach rocks!!!! I'm thankful I have Sanford insurance & they will not let him in to use the equipment!!! They are smart I wldnt either!!!!
