I had a very good experience with the doctor and all the staff, both pre-op and post-op. The actual dismissal process took longer than I wished, as all the various departments (hospitalist---which I had never heard of before, physical therapy, the doctor's PA, pharmacy, occupational therapy, I know there were more, but I forgot), each of these also had to dismiss you. So you see, it's been a long time since my last surgery when just your doctor dismissed you.
I felt very confident in making the decisions I needed to because Dr Looby was so thorough with explaining my options. Staff friendly and patient and as super busy as they all are they are still very upbeat and friendly! Very talented orthopedic team! Always greets you with a smile and leaves you with a smile! Ran a little behind but only because how busy they are and still take the time you need!
