From my initial consultation, through pre-op, the actual procedure, and follow-up - Dr McNerney and his entire staff were courteous, caring and highly professional. You will be in very good hands with this group!
Another medical professional told me that ' Dr. John J McNerney ' was the one to go to for my first colonoscopy ~15 years ago; said he was very skilled, professional, and that I would like him. I did, and I went back to him for my recent colonoscopy. He takes time to make sure you understand his instructions pre & post procedure and that all your questions/concerns are dealt with. And I find that the staff at the Tucson Gastroenerology Institute are professional as well as kind & pleasant.
While I would rather be doing almost anything but undergoing an upper-GI endoscopy, Dr. McNerney and his entire staff made me feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. He and all of the staff that I interacted with were professional, kind, and attentive. They helped reduce my anxiety to a manageable level and the procedure was quick and painless--I didn't even feel the IV inserted! Everything from check-in to the assisted walk to my ride home went smoothly. Thank you.
Everything about this was very easy. Got an appt at a convenient time for me. Instructions were very clear for prepping. Staff was very friendly and professional. Dr. McNerney was very friendly and clear about results.
Great facility great staff from the receptionist to the nurses to the doctor my doctor met him briefly Mr McNerney , very kind and reassuring at all would be okay, I recommend him to any of my family if you need of this procedure thank you

He and all his staff are always very professional, friendly,(funny)and helpful. My husband and I have been going to his Gastroenterology Institute for many years and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
