Dr John McNerney is a very competent and caring gastroenterologist. He made me comfortable and confident that the procedure would be easy and thorough. His staff is very caring and experienced in the pre and post care. My colonoscopy was fast and easy and the recovery was quick. I was able to leave the office within 20 minuets of being wakened from the anesthesia. The more mature and experienced staff gave me comfort knowing they have been doing these procedures for years. The nurses are wonderful...very competent and compassionate. Dr. McNerney explained each step before the procedure. Made a very uncomfortable experience bearable.

The whole appointment I was made to feel comfortable and everything was clearly explained. Dr McNerney put me at ease before the procedure (colonoscopy) and told me exactly what he was going to do. After waking up, Dr McNerney went over the results with me and let me know that the testing results of a polyp he removed would take a few days to get. Seeing a gastroenterologist is never a “fun” appointment but Dr McNerney and his staff have made it their goal to provide the most comfortable yet efficient experience possible. They are professional and extremely competent but at the same time concerned for your welfare and listen to your desires. I felt confident I was getting superior care. I have had to visit several gastros throughout my life and I believe Dr McNerney is one of the best. He speaks truth with compassion. I would recommend him without reservation!
