My experience with Dr MCNerney Jr has always been excellent. I have had several colonoscopies and Dr McNerney and his staff are always caring and professional and give me the best of care.
Everything at the office was very professional, the staff was friendly and everything was thoroughly explained. There was almost no waiting at all. Dr. McNerney was very friendly before and after the procedure and explained everything thoroughly and without rushing.
The staff was professional and pleasant. They provided all the information I needed to make my visit comfortable.

I would, without reservation, recommend Dr. McNerney and his staff if you are due for a colonoscopy. I have seen Dr. McNerney and clinic 3 times and have always felt respected, and well-looked after. After each procedure I have been able to ask questions and have received answers that, being a layperson, I could understand. I have always had a positive experience.
I was referred to Dr McNerney by another physician and very glad I was. After seeing several GI physicians in and around Tucson over the years, I am very happy with the care Dr McNernery offers. He is very skilled performing GI procedures. He is caring and compassionate and highly professional in his approach to patient interaction. As a retired RN, I am rather selective about physicians I choose. Dr McNerney exceeds my high expectations.
I was talked down to and ignored. (At one appointment, he pretty much told me I wasting his valuable time.) When I came in complaining of abdominal pain he kept insisting it was cardiac, even though I told him I have no cardiac issues. After a couple more unproductive visits and a lot of pain and discomfort, he finally referred me to a surgeon. Dr. McNerney gave me a thorough and easy-to-understand readout of my colonoscopy and answered all of my questions. Whole procedure was done professionally and very efficiently. Highly recommend Dr. McNerney for any GI medical needs.
