Dr McNerney performed my colonoscopy at Tucson Gastroenterology. He was friendly and explained everything before the procedure. The facility, nurses and Dr McNerney were very professional and I would highly recommend them.
I met Dr. McNerney recently. He was professional, attentive, efficient and kind as was his entire office staff. I got an appointment promptly for endoscopy. I was well cared for during the procedure and the follow up was outstanding. As a medical professional myself for 50 years, it was so reassuring to find an MD in Tucson who provided care promptly and so kindly. I recommend anyone needing a GI doctor to call his office.
I've worked with Dr. McNerney and his clinic for over 20 years. The relationship has been great to say the least. He first met with me prior to my first procedure covering my medical history and that of my family. He was friendly, engaging and informative. On each occasion of my procedures throughout the years his team of nurses have been friendly, helpful and always wanting to do the best for me. On those occasions before the procedure, Dr. McNerney visited with me reviewing my history and confirming the reason for the visi... read more
My husband and I went for our colonoscopies. The care of the staff, and explanation of the procedure was exceptional! Prior to treatment the staff contacted us, reviewed everything that was required. Afterwords, the nurse called us to make sure we were doing well. Highly recommend Tucson Gastroenterology Institute/Specialist.
Entire team seemed very professional and knowledgeable
Dr. McNerney is pleasant, professional and explains procedure clearly. The entire staff at Tucson Gastroenterology are efficient and friendly. I was very impressed that there was no long wait to be taken care of. Great teamwork.
I had a consultation with a NP because I had a positive cologuard test. Everything was explained that I needed to do and an appointment carefully scheduled for procedure with Dr. McNerny. I know several people who have seen him and all thought he was great. The staff was very helpful and everyone knows their job. Everything was explained well and after my procedure the doctor explained the findings and the next steps. I was released and walked out to the car where my husband was waiting to drive me home. I was given contact ... read more
I had a screening colonoscopy 2/23 with Dr. McNerney. Upon arrival, I was asked to pay $503. I replied that there was no charge unless I had polyps. The woman argued with me, conferred with her colleagues, then said that the $503 was a mistake. No apology. Just as my blood pressure began to subside, another employee appeared and said that I was not scheduled for a colonoscopy, only an office visit. It's safe to say, I would have lost my sh*t if I had any to lose. I ended up talking to the office manager who brusquely told me... read more
