I was very impressed and well taken care of by the entire staff, process and procedure. Every individual was professional, pleasant and efficient. Dr. McNerney has established a team and a clinic that ensures that the patient receives excellent care all the way from making an appt., receiving preparation instructions, pharmacy prescription, office check-in, review of medical history, establish IV/BP/HR, discussion of procedure with Dr. McNerney, post sedative care and a verbal and written report of the findings. Thank you!
Dr. McNerney conducted my recent colonoscopy. He took the time to answer my questions immediately before the procedure and gave me the results immediately following the procedure. His facility was attractive; his staff, courteous and very helpful. They even gave me pictures of my healthy colon, which in their own way were beautiful. I would readily recommend Dr. McNerney and his staff for your next colonoscopy.
"How likely are you to recommend Dr. McNerney Jr?" How would I know? I've called circa thirty times today, and have yet to talk to a HUMAN BEING. IMPOSSIBLE to make an appointment! YIKES!!!!!
On 10/20/22 I had a colonoscopy at Tucson Gastroenterology Institute. Everyone that I met provided me with great customer service from the receptionist at the front desk, Carol RN in pre-op, Marcy RN in the OR, and Matt RN in post-op. Dr. McNerney that performed my colonoscopy was very considerate and professional. He explained everything on what he was doing. I would highly recommend Dr. McNerney and his staff for anyone considering a gastroenterology procedure.
I recently had a colonoscopy with Dr. McNerney. While I am satisfied with the actual procedure, including admittance the day of and follow up the day after, I was not happy that multiple messages left at Dr. McNerney's office to schedule a colonoscopy were simply ignored and not answered. The one time I actually talked to a human being, I was told that somebody would get back to me, but nobody ever did. Dr McNerney and his entire staff were exceptional. My colonoscopy was pain free and accomplished with minimal sedation. I was able to be awake for a good part of the procedure. Dr McNerney explained everything he would be doing very clearly. The nurse and techs were caring and compassionate. I received a phone call the day after my colonoscopy to check on me and how I was feeling. Very pleasant experience. The only thing that could be improved is their phone system. When I spoke to the operator – she was able to connect me to someone who quickly made me an appointment. Dr. McNerney is so prompt, so congenial—the office, so professional, and so incredibly clean, and everyone I had contact with was so friendly that I can’t recommend him highly enough. This is the third time I’ve seen this doctor in 20 years, and my wonderful experience was the same 10 years ago as it was today.
Dr. McNerney is a very kind and caring Dr. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing the services of a Gastroenterologist. I've been seeing him for years and wouldn't think of going to anyone else. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and truly cares about his patients.
