New to Arizona so needed to find a gastroenterologist. Reviews I read were good and found them to be accurate after meeting him and his staff. Scheduling was easy. Medical staff assisting with the colonoscopy were all friendly and comforting. Results of the test were explained clearly and my questions answered.
I commend this doctor and his staff for making this medical process the best I have ever had. The staff makes you feel comfortable and well taken care of every step of the way. The doctor and staff are knowledgeable and answered all questions easily. I would highly recommend this office for your gastroenterologist needs.
Dr. McNerney and his nurses are very professional and super friendly and put me at ease immediately. I have been seeing Dr. McNerney for 23 years and had always had a very positive experience in his office. The only exception is the front desk person named Armando. Very rude at times. It was my second time dealing with him and his lack of professionalism is just mind boggling. There is no "hello, or good morning how are you". From the time I arrived, the entire staff was beyond friendly, caring, instructive and kind. I can honestly say this was, perhaps, the best medical office experience I have ever had. KUDOS!! I would highly recommend this office.
I appreciated his thoroughness, kindness as well as the staff. I wasn’t completely sedated the entire time but slowly woke up at the end. I didn’t have to wait in recovery for a long time. After a short period of time I went to the car and my husband took me out to eat!
It was time for the dreaded colonoscopy. Dr. McNerney couldn't have been more thorough and kind explaining the process. He is a very experienced, confident physician - exactly what you want when going through this procedure. The nursing staff was equally supportive and informative. I highly recommend Tucson Gastroenterology and Dr. McNerney.
As an executive in healthcare, for over 40 years, I am very critical of healthcare providers. In my case of care, Dr. McNerney truly surpassed my expectations. First, he has hire and trained an experienced staff, who exhibited educating, training and care for the patient. Second, Dr. McNerney was polite, personable, responsible, and perfectly experienced for what I needed. I was very fortunate to find him after lengthy searching for a qualified physician.
Everyone in the office, from schedulers to Dr McNerney himself, made my colonoscopy an easy and comfortable procedure. Staff was helpful and respectful, explained clearly, couldn't have been nicer or more professional.
My entire experience was made manageable and without any concerns because of Dr. McNerney and his staff. What could have an anxious experience was turn into a routine time frame of events, will explained in advance . Dr. McNerney instills confidence in his patients which supports his reputation of being the best of the best!! Thank you ALL for being there for our health and well being!!
