I had seen Dr. McNerney before. This was my three-year visit, and as I am getting older, I was more nervous about my visit. During my initial consultation Dr. McNerney listened carefully to my concerns and answered my questions in easy to understand terminology. When I returned for a colonoscopy I found all of the staff in the practice to be caring and focused on patient care. The practice works as a team to provide well organized, efficient, and on time care.
Great care. Everyone was very professional and caring. Dr. McNerney explained everything before and after the procedure. I was very nervous about the procedure but the attendants calmed my nerves by being gentle, friendly, and caring.

Dr. McNerney is the best doctor to perform your colonoscopy in Tucson. He is experienced, professional, compassionate and skillful. The staff at Tucson Gastro is so helpfullthroughout the colonoscopy process. The technician will introduce himself and make you feel comfortable. I’ve been to the office twice and had one procedure and have been very happy with Dr MCNerney and all his staff. Minimal wait times and the staff have all been very personable and make sure you are being looked after. Dr McNernery has been very forthcoming in regards to diagnosis, treatment and procedures and is very knowledgeable. So far I am very pleased with Tucson GI and feel like I’m getting the treatment I need, because we all now how horrible gut issues can be.
Been seeing Dr. McNerney for a number of years. Several routine colonoscopies. Not heavily sedated, he let me watch, and this is very cool. Had an endoscopy yesterday, and all went smoothly. He is patient with his patients, and his staff is very friendly and accommodating. All in all, the best!
Yes, I would recommend him. I was sent to him for a pre-op procedure. He was interested in what was going on. Told me what he would recommend and the information he would obtain. Procedure day, he explained everything that was going to happen. I will see him for future procedures when needed.
