Let’s face it: no one looks forward to a colonoscopy! But the excellent care by Dr. McNerney and the staff of Tucson Gastroenterology make the worst part of the procedure doing the bowel prep the day before, not the procedure itself. The check-in process was efficient and the compassionate care by nursing staff was excellent. Dr. McNerney was very professional and kind during the procedure. I highly recommend him and the staff of Tucson Gastroenterology.
Dr. McNerney is definitely a kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable physician. I was a little nervous during my first appointment but he quickly put those fears to rest. He understood my questions and all questions were answered in layman's terms. My procedure was scheduled before I left his office and all the materials were provided to me by Blanca, his MA, that same day. She went over everything with me and I felt very comfortable when I left. I highly recommend Tucson Gastroenterology Institute as they definitely are a ... read more
I would recommend Dr. McNerney to family and friends. Had colonoscopy in Oct, 2021. Procedure went well. I was given results and explanation afterwards.
No waiting, nice environment, staff were friendly, helpful and comforting. I appreciated the warm blankets on the bed and on me!
I had my colonoscopy done by Dr. McNerney. He had done my previous one 5 years ago. He is very kind, patient and caring. He keeps you comfortable and safe during your procedure. He takes time to explain results and makes sure you understand any questions that may arise. I would highly recommend Dr. McNerney to family and freinds.
the staff were so empathetic and efficient and reassuring. Dr. McNerney was also very empathetic and explained everything
From beginning to end, my experience with Dr McNerney and his nurses was great. Dr McNerney explained in detail what would happen during the procedure and woke me early so I could watch the procedure on the monitor screen. The nurses took excellent care of me. They were very kind and professional. I would highly recommend Tucson Gastroenterology.
My first colonoscopy and I was not feeling great due to prep, everyone was so kind and professional from check in to check out. The doctor was very kind and reassuring. My nurse who cared for me from the beginning of the visit to the end of the visit deserves 6 stars. I wish I remembered her name.
I have seen several Gastroenterologists during the 10 years since my colon cancer diagnosis. Dr. McNerney is the first one that seemed to care about me as a patient. I would recommend Dr. McNerney to family and friends.
