Explained procedure extremely well as the complete result explanation
This office has made getting a colonoscopy as easy as it can be. The procedure is quick and the staff work so efficiently that I was in and out in less than 2 hrs. No bad side effects and the Dr was able to give me a diagnosis for an issue that has been bothering me for quite a long time.
Dr. McNerney is wonderful. He explained everything thoroughly and gave the time needed for the discussion. The procedure I had was painless and easy.

Dr McNerney has been my doctor for 12 years or so. Dr McNerney and his staff have always been very efficient and professional all the time. They care about you and your health. I would have no problem recommending him to anyone. He was the first doctor to change my medication and get my ulcerative colitis under control. I have been in remission now for many years.
Just had two procedures done by Dr. John McNerney at Tucson Gastroenterology Specialists -- an endoscopy and colonoscopy. Both the doctor and his staff were professional, efficient, compassionate, friendly...everything one might want in this situation. The procedures went smoothly and what was found during them were explained in an easy-to-understand way. I highly recommend Dr. McNerney and Tucson Gastroenterology Specialists and should I require additional procedures in the future, I know to whom and where I'm going.
On initial consult, Dr. McNerney asks your opinion and view of what You feel is your health issue and main concern. I had endo- and colonoscopy on same morning. He explained all steps and what he would be doing,, just prior to the -scopies and asked for final questions/concerns. This is important to me, because I'm not scared of being anesthetized, but do worry about waking during a procedure. I was in for a colonoscopy. Though the office was a little delayed, everyone was professional and helpful, checking on me often through the stages of the process to make sure that I was comfortable and had any questions that I had answered. Dr. McNerney explained the procedure to me and it went very smoothly. I received a call the next day to make sure I was okay. They were all wonderful.
So fast and professional! They answered all of my questions and the facility is great! Would recommend to anyone needing their first colonosopy!
