Excellent care. Scheduling was easy, the prep instructions staff guidance was helpful, and the everyone's care during the day of the procedure was exemplary.
I had my followup colonoscopy with Dr McNerney as my prior Gastroenterologist had retired. I have definitely found my new specialist. No reason searching elsewhere. I appreciated the interaction with his assistants as well who explained their part in the process without being asked. Friendly team and efficient too.
Dr. McNerney seemed very knowledgeable and caring. He did take the time to have a consultation with me prior to my procedure, instead of having an assistant do the consultation like some doctors do. Facility was very clean and professionally run. I did not feel like I was in an assembly line, and felt I had more privacy than I've had elsewhere.
Dr. McNerney made a potentially uncomfortable procedure seem far less so with his detailed explanation of what was going on in layman's terms, with a calming bedside manner. I was unsure of what to expect with my first colonoscopy and everyone in the Tucson Gastroenterology Institute put me at ease from the moment I stepped into their office.
Dr McNerney very professional & caring & thorough! I give him a 10!! His staff great - friendly & personable! Definitely would recommend him & his staff!
I had a colonoscopy recently and was impressed with the whole staff. They explained everything to me very thoroughly and were extremely nice as well. Dr McNerney also explained everything and was extremely professional. I was given great handouts and the whole procedure was quick. I only had one other in the past at another office and this one was better from start to finish. I will be returning here! Thanks Dr. McNerney and staff!
Dr. McNerney was professional, polite, and shared all pertinent information with me regarding my GI status and my colonoscopy. My procedure was effortless (except for the prep, of course!), and pain free. Dr. McNerney and his staff were most courteous, understanding, and helpful to me. I gladly give them 5 stars and will recommend them to anyone looking for a GI specialist. Thanks, Dr. McNerney!
