I had an inguinal hernia which had some unusual issues because of a prior unrelated surgery. Dr. Cione correctly diagnosed the problem and correctly determined which type of surgical procedure was needed for safety reasons because of my prior unrelated surgery. Excellent assessment, diagnosis and surgery!!! Very smart and intelligent man!!! Also, he is a Christian man that prays with you prior to surgery--but that is NOT the reason you should use him--he is excellent!
Robotic surgery to remove gall bladder
Used Dr. Cione twice now. Very impressed with him on my gall bladder removal went back for a hernia operation. He got me into surgery within a week, very through answered all questions. I felt totally comfortable with him in every aspect and feel he is not only a skilled surgeon but highly values patient care. Recommend without any hesitation.

I recently had my gallbladder removed by Dr. Cione. He did a great job explaining the surgery and aftercare. I have had no complications after the surgery. Importantly, immediately prior to going into the OR, Dr. Cione prayed for me.
I had major issue with acid reflux. Another doctor said there was nothing that could be done. Then another doctor, Dr David Park, referred my to Dr Dean Cione. Dr Cione fixed my issue with esophageal sphincter and hiatal hernia. Dr Cione performed Heller myotomy for my Achalasia issue. I highly recommended both Dr Cione And Dr Park.
Dr. Cione completed my hernia repair. Excellent Doctor with a fantastic bed side manner. He took the time to explain the process, procedure, and answer any and all questions I had. Very professional and I would highly recommend.
Dr. Cione and his office staff are wonderful. They are welcoming and spend plenty of time making sure everything is understood and covered. Dr. Cione was very thorough and surgery expectations were clear and follow up has been wonderful. I have felt very cared for and received excellent care.
