Dr. Cione was absolutely amazing. I am a 52 year old man and had never had any type of surgery in my life, so to say the last my anxiety level was pretty much thru the roof about the whole process. Dr. Cione explained everything from pre-op, to the surgery itself, to recovery in great detail and calmed my nerves as much as he possibly good. Surgery went great, and I am well on my way to recovered. I would use Dr. Cione again without thinking twice.
Just had an unplanned Gall Bladder removal. Dr. Cione not only provided his skills as a surgeon, but he and his team were there every step of the way to help. This is the second time I have used him for a procedure and I was very impressed both times. Outstanding.

I was referred to Dr Cione by my family doctor to do surgery to correct a hernia in my abdomen. I was able to get an appointment and he confirmed surgery was needed. Dr. Cione explained the procedure and scheduled the surgery. He performed the surgery, which eliminated all of the pain that I was experiencing, explained the procedure and answered all of my questions. I had an inguinal hernia which had some unusual issues because of a prior unrelated surgery. Dr. Cione correctly diagnosed the problem and correctly determined which type of surgical procedure was needed for safety reasons because of my prior unrelated surgery. Excellent assessment, diagnosis and surgery!!! Very smart and intelligent man!!! Also, he is a Christian man that prays with you prior to surgery--but that is NOT the reason you should use him--he is excellent!
