Dr. Cione has 23 years experience and it shows. He is highly regarded by all hospital staff and his reputation was quite impressive to hear from the nurses, X-ray department and other doctors. He operated on my hiatal hernia and I highly recommend him! Professional bedside manner, prayed with me prior to going into surgery, very good doctor!

I cannot recommend Dr. Cione enough if you’re looking for a surgeon. I had been dealing with gallbladder issues for over 6 years and was finally diagnosed with gallbladder diseases in January 2020. My PA referred me to a general surgeon to have my gallbladder removed. My mom is a nurse a THR Plano and so she asked around and Dr. Cione was highly recommended by many nurses and staff members at THR. I've been battling a serious health condition since 2012. In 2015 I developed additional complications requiring surgery. However, due to my over all issues my doctors would not consent. Finally after 5 years they referred me to Dr Cione. I was very nervous, but took all the necessary precautions and the surgery was a success, zero complications. I was referred to Dr. Cione for inguinal hernia repair. Dr. Cione is a highly skilled minimally invasive surgeon. My recovery has been pain-free and released at my 2-week follow-up to gradually start returning to normal activities. I would highly recommend Dr. Cione.

I had a double hernia surgery with Dr Cione using the DaVinci robotic surgery system and was amazed at how well the surgery went and how well the recovery period was for me. I was extremely pleased with Dr Cione and how well he explained the procedure to me and that he stopped by before the surgery to pray with me. He is a man of faith and I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Cione diagnosed and repaired my inguinal hernia. He and his team are professional and caring. They said they would treat us like family and certainly did. Dr. Cione was my surgeon for gall bladder removal. I would highly recommend him. He explained my procedure and answered all questions, exhibiting knowledge, patience and compassion. His excellent qualifications and genuine concern for his patients is exceptional.
