I was in constant pain and missing a lot of work. Had a HIDA scan (33% EF) that a GI doctor said wasn't low enough. Talked to a different GI doctor named Dr. David Park who referred me to Dr. Dean Cione. Said his own Mom had had surgery with Dr. Cione. After I read reviews and saw that Dr. Cione prays with his patients, I knew I was going to the right guy. Dr. Cione was an outstanding surgeon! He treated my case with such care and quickly scheduled my gallbladder surgery since it was urgent. He made sure I understood everything and made the whole process seamless. He made me feel totally comfortable in the hospital. I am three weeks post operation now, and it feels like I didn’t even have surgery!
A compassionate man and skilled surgeon. He let me know what to expect prior to, during, and after surgery. His entire office staff are the best.

I had excellent care with Dr. Cione. He was caring, attentive, and listened.His spirituality led us into prayer even for the employees working in the OR. That experience made me totally peaceful. I wish I could go to for any surgery I might need,
Dr. Cione made me feel at ease immediately as he explained the results of the scans showing the need for my gallbladder to be removed. He was kind and caring. Surgery day, he prayed for me in the preop room, and as a Christian, that was very reassuring for my peace of mind. He shared the pathology report with me today and I would likely have been in big trouble if he had not removed my gallbladder. Love that man!
Dr. Cione and staff at hospital were outstanding for my procedure to remove gall bladder. He gave me such peace praying over me before taken to OR. Recovery was just as expected. It was a very positive hospital experience. I would recommend him to anyone who was looking for a General Surgeon.

Everything from pre-surgery office consult, to hospital surgical consult, to gall bladder removal surgery, to 2-week post-op visit was as good as I could have hoped. Dr. Cione is personable, professional, knowledgeable, and patient to answer all my questions. As a bonus, what a relief to have him pray with me before surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Cione for your surgery.
