I’m a 59 year old man of excellent health and I was dreading my first ever surgery. I had nothing to fear and could not have asked for a better surgeon. Dr Cione did a fantastic job on my hernia. The entire process from the initial consultation to the post op was entirely trouble free and i was up and about in no time with no need of painkillers or aspirin at any time. Everything has healed up nicely and I’m back to normal. Thank you to Dr Cione and his wonderful staff.

Dr Cione is a little overbearing in a closed room, but get him a patient and stand back. He went in looking for a single hernia and found four. And other than the second 24 hours after surgery, I have had only a twinge now and again. This has been one of the easiest surgeries I have ever had.
Dr Cione repaired an umbilical hernia for me and the entire experience was positive and successful. Highly recommend him.

My pre-operative visit prepared me well for all aspects of the procedure and recovery. Dr Cione's diagnostic and surgical abilities combine to make him my first choice for general surgery.
Since my relocation to DFW area I have been unable to say I have found a Doctor's office where I was treated so well, fabulous continue follow-up and 1:1 Doctor Patient appointments where Dr. Cione takes the time to explain "and follow-up" with my surgery! This was actually a very precise and smooth surgical procedures which I was avoiding for years. I truly appreciate Dr C and his staff/office.
Dr. Cione did amazing job in removing my Gallbladder. Everything was planned well, explained well and surgery went very smoothly and no complications after surgery.
Hands down, a terrific surgeon. Went in for a gallbladder removal. He went over the entire process, from pre-op to post-op and 2 week follow-up. The team he assembled was outstanding as well and I think this also speaks highly of Dr. Cione. The nurses and staff at the hospital raved about Dr. Cione and they were sure to tell me they don't do this with other doctors. I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Cione and would recommend him to anyone!
Dr Cione takes all the time required to answer all of your questions. He advises how the procedure will be done and what to expect after surgery and during your recovery period. He’s removed my gall bladder as well as repaired an inguinal hernia. I highly recommend him.
