Dr. Dean Cione is by far the best surgeon I have ever met. He has a caring heart, a very professional and excellent bedside manner, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs an amazing surgeon. Dr. Cione removed my galbladder, he put my fears at ease (who really likes surgery?) and he was so attentive that he cared enough to say a prayer with me and my husband before I rolled into the OR. Wonderful skilled, kind, caring person. Recommend him without reservation. Surgery (gallbladder removal) and healing were uneventful. No pain or nausea because they give you pain med, anti-nausea and antibiotics before heading to recovery room. This is one of the most positive experiences I've ever had with a new doctor.
A wonderful surgeon! Explains every step in detail and is compassionate. Used a Da Vinci robot on my hernia repair and it could not have gone smoother. I would recommend him highly to anyone.

Dr, Cione and his office staff check all the boxes in exceptional care. From setting my appointment, to diagnosis, to physician-patient manner, to explaining insurance, to pre-surgery visit through post op visit, Dr. Cione and his staff were excellent! I had the robotic removal of my gall-bladder and came out of it so well that I got a mile walk in that night. Dr. Cione said that was an exceptional recovery, but it obviously speaks to a surgery very well done. Maximum recommendation!
Prior to my gallbladder surgery I went through the pre-op process, that in itself was reassuring that Dr. Cione wanted to make sure I was in good physical condition for surgery. Surgery morning, I couldn't have gotten any better care than I did, the nurses and anesthesiologist were professional, kind and patient with my concerns. Dr. Cione sat down with my husband and myself and went over the process of the surgery and prayed with us, (we appreciated that very much).
Dr. Cione and his staff are such wonderful people to work with for your personal care! My diagnosis was quick, yet in depth in information. The surgery went wonderfully and the surgical staff was ready to attend to all of our needs prior and post surgery.
