Excellent surgeon! Explains the procedure very well and has a responsive staff that get back to you very quickly on any follow up questions. Great experience!
Dr. Cione removed an infected gall bladder. He spent 15 minutes, or so, before surgery explaining the procedure and what I should expect immediately after surgery and over the following 2 weeks. After just over 2 weeks I am well into my recovery and it went as well as the Dr. had predicted.
I underwent a laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. I am a physician myself and and was stunned at how simple the recovery was. Above all, I was most impressed that he sensed my apprehension immediately prior to rolling back into the OR. He stopped and offered a brief prayer. It was sincere and heartfelt. What an incredible witness and surgeon. Dr. Cione is a master of his art.
I had to have a section of my colon removed because it was very inflamed (diverticulitis). The surgery went well, post-op care was great, and the end result was a significant improvement in my daily lifestyle.
Dr. Cione was amazing!! He took the time to explain my issue, and surgery. I never felt rushed and he answered all of my questions. The day of my surgery he could tell I was nervous and he held my hand and prayed with me. I would highly recommend Dr. Cione.
Dr. Cione and his staff were great at his main office located at TEXAS HEALTH PRESBYTERIAN – PLANO. Again he and his staff were wonderful as well at Texas Health Surgery Center Preston Plaza. I needed surgery immediately. From the front office to the nursing staff, to pre-op, to Dr. Cione I was highly impressed with each person I interacted with. Dr. Cione was kind, patient, explaining the surgery in terms I could understand, and repeated instructions just before surgery. The surgery went extremely well and I'm well on my way to recovery.
Dr Cione did my Gallbladder surgery and I highly recommend him, he explained the procedure to me and what to expect afterwards and him and his staff were excellent before during and after surgery
Dr. Dean Cione performed two surgeries on me recently, a biopsy and the installation of a port to facilitate my chemotherapy. I was referred to him by my primary physician who highly recommended him. Dr. Cione is not only a skilled surgeon, but has a great way of working with you to instill confidence and ease anxiety.
