Our daughter is a surgery nurse and knows who the great doctors are. So, when I developed a hernia, she was quick to recommend Dr. Dean Cione. I was able to see him in his office right away and then the surgery followed within a few days. My recovery has been speedy with minimal discomfort. One thing I particularly liked was him saying a prayer with me, at his suggestion, before the surgery. He ensures that you are fully briefed on the matter.
Husband had hernia surgery. Dr. Cione explained every detail and the surgery went great. Dr. Cione has the best bedside manner. His expertise made us feel at ease. Dr. Cione is the only surgeon we felt comfortable to have surgery with. From first visit to post op visit it was a good experience. This is a surgeon that truly cares about his patients.
Good surgery experience with double inguinal hernia, but two weeks after surgery why did he put his hands up in me under my skin? After that exam my urine is not flowing as well; I was not complaining, so why such as rough exam? Warning don't let him touch you after surgery, unless there is a specific need for it is my opinion; hoping I get better urinary flow like before he was too rough with me.
I would 100% recommend Dr. Cione to anyone! He and his staff were awesome. Dr. Cione has great bedside manner and explains things very well. He said a prayer before I went back to the OR which was incredible. Thank you Dr. Cione and staff!
Needed hernia surgery and Dr. Cione got me in quickly, showed a great deal of concern for my health and well being, communicated what to expect and the healing process extremely well. Would highly recommend him!

I had two hernia operations. They went really well. Dr. Cione was very professional and superbly knowledgeable about all aspects of my care. The surgery went off without a hitch. I was sore for a few days, then all pain went away. That was about a year ago, and the hernias have permanently gone away.
