Dr. Cione was provided as a referral from a doctor in my neighborhood and who operated on both his daughter and wife. Figured that was a decent first endorsement as a choice after two surgeries that were ultimately successful, but either didn't have great bedside manner (5 min consultation); challenging pre-op billing procedures that were a bit DIY; and my first two surgeries resulted in a little more pain than I expected. Dr. Cione operated on me two times. Once for a lesion that was pre-cancerous, then when cancer was found by the pathologist, a second time to remove more. As a result I am now cancer free. My experience with Dr. Cione was great! He and his staff were very caring during and after the surgeries. He gave me all the facts as to what will happen if and then followed through. They were available to me 24/7 throughout the process and sowed nothing but care and confidence in what was happening. It calmed me and I am healing quickly.... read more
Perfect experience from start to finish! Dr. Cione and his team made me feel welcome and handled the pre-surgery experience with extreme professionalism. Dr. Cione made me feel like a friend more than a patient. Surgery went extremely well, as I am already able to do most of the activities I was unable to perform pre-surgery. Recently had a Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair procedure performed by Dr. Cione. The care received and the attention to detail was outstanding. Dr. Cione's approach is simple, breaks down the medical diagnostic explanation into terms that can be understood. Dr. Cione is a fantastic surgeon. He has a wonderful bedside manner. I had to my gallbladder removed and an umbilical hernia repair. Performed robotically. Almost zero pain after surgery, just mild discomfort. If you need surgery, you're in extraordinarily good hands.
Great surgeon!! Made me feel extremely comfortable and my gallbladder surgery went great. I love that he offered to pray over me before surgery!! I highly recommend him!!

Dr Cione is an excellent surgeon and an amazing doctor! I was referred to him by my family doctor and because my case was urgent he was kind enough to fit me in his busy schedule. On our first visit he explained everything which will happen on the surgery date. He made me very comfortable, answered all my questions.
