Dr. Cione performed my last surgery and I can’t say enough good things about this experience. I was diagnosed with cancer and have had 3 surgeries in 5 months. I was dreading another. He has the best compassion and care for his patients. He explains everything and I recovered from this surgery much quicker than expected. He is the first surgeon that prayed with me prior to escorting me into the operating room which brought me peace. Remember you have a choice when needing surgery. Request this man. You will be glad you did.

Dr Dean was recommened by everyone who works with my friend at THR, plano. And indeed this God fearing man did exceptionally well. I am very pleased having helped me fix my problem. I would recommend him to any of my family and friends that would need surgery. He has a great personality and office team are very helpful. He explains things in a way that is easy to understand. Dr. Cione was highly recommended by my primary care physician and has delivered great results twice. A few years ago, I had a small hernia that he repaired and I experienced minimal pain with the surgery and I did not experience any complications. On August 17th I was admitted to the emergency room with serious gallstones and a very diseased gall bladder. I had gallstones and had to have my gall bladder removed, I was referred to Dr. Cione by my PCP. His staff were very pleasant and professional, they took time to explain the process and followed up. I was a bit anxious, but day of surgery, Dr. Cione talked me through it and answered all my questions. I had little down time, and less than 2 weeks later, I am back to my normal routine. I would definitely recommend him!

Dr. Cione explains the surgical process in his office, in the surgical prep room, during a post-op visit and during a follow up visit a week or two after the surgery. Not only is he fluent in robotic surgery, he is often called upon when a trauma surgery patient arrives in the ER. I highly recommend Dr. Cione.

Dr. Cione was recommended by 2 of my doctors, and is well known in the community. Dr. Cione explained the procedure thoroughly and answered all my questions. Post op, he was not able to provide care for a few days, however, one of his staff filled in...excellent bed side manner and care as well. Three weeks after surgery, great follow up. Dr. Cione is a man of faith and prays with his patients prior to surgery!!!!
