Dr. Cione, in my opinion, is in league with Dr. David Park, Gastroenterologist, and Dr. Roger Emerson who replaced my knees. He was kind, considerate, and totally professional. Before surgery he explained the entire procedure, prayed with me and, along with his anesthetist are totally awesome.

My family doctor recommended Dr. Cione for treatment of my 3 hernias. I would also recommend him for this type of surgery, as it was a very good experience. Dr Cione impressed me as being very competent. He answered all questions both before and after the surgery, which occurred 3 weeks ago. He used robotic hernia repair, and there was minimal discomfort and almost no pain after the surgery. Dr. Cione was very excellent. As someone undergoing surgery for the first time, he was very reassuring and helpful, explaining everything in an easy to understand and succinct manor. The surgery went perfectly and I am recovering great, and his follow up appointment pre-empted all of my questions and made everything really smooth.

Dr. Cione and his whole team from the time I scheduled my initial appointment to the time I was discharged were not just very good, they were outstanding. Dr. Cione established my issue, advised and described in understandable language, the treatment and then executed it with great skill that permitted me to return to my normal activities in the projected time frame. His whole team from the receptionist, to his medical team to the discharge nurse were knowledgeable, courteous and welcoming. I can highly recommend Dr. Cione.

What a wonderful doctor, who is clearly called to practice medicine. Highest level of patient care, surgical skills, and professionalism. I will refer him to anyone I am able to. These days, it is difficult to find such a fantastic doctor who has a sweet staff, kind medical assistants, and an atmosphere of real care, both in office and at the surgical center. Very good explanation of surgery with use of a good chart to show what would be done. Answered all questions in a calm, unhurried way. I was really impressed with his efficient, organized and personalized way. I was very pleased with the initial office visit, surgery and post office visit.

I felt very relaxed when I first arrived at Dr Cione's office. The 'vibe' of the office was calm and soothing. Dr Cione's bedside manner was reassuring and he explained everything in language that I, as the patient, could comprehend. He was polite and respectful. All of that flowed into the day of my surgery. As an added blessing, he prayed for me before we went into the operating room.
