Dr Dierckman is extremely caring and thorough!!
I am now 3 days post op from my right total hip. Pain is as expected (minimal). Bandage looks remarkable per my physical therapist. I sought out a Dr Dierckmann because he had done revisions of the surgery I was to have. Anyone that has the skills and confidence to do that is A-OK with me. He takes the time to walk you through any questions or concerns. He truly is empathetic is a very sincere way. His staff are all top notch!

All parts of healing my injury were handled vert well! Specifically, the diagnosis of my injury, the correction of the problem and the constant follow-up after surgery were all done with high quqlity and strong communication.
He’s patient, kind, listens thoroughly and is honest about the diagnosis. He takes his time in discussing all possible treatment options, and details the pros and cons. Quite frankly, he’s the best orthopedist (within his specialty) in the practice. And absolutely one of the best in middle TN.
Dr Ferkel took on saving my lower leg, ankle and foot. Even after I self diagnosed, shut down and decided I didn’t need to see a doctor. Please don’t do what I did. I risked losing my foot. While getting a Cat scan at Cedars I met a man in the waiting room who did what I did years ago, and without the luck of having Dr. Ferkel, ended up having his foot amputated because his ankle was beyond repair.
