About this business

As a former Division I athlete, I fully understand the unique demands athletes place on their bodies, and how devastating injuries can be. I treat each and every athlete differently, as no single treatment is "perfect" for all patients. I am a very conservative doctor, and always consider conservative measures first. My ultimate goal is to get you back to the sport you enjoy as quickly and safely as possible using the most current and cutting edge techniques available.

Wow! Just wow! Only one other doctor in my life has made me walk out of the office with a huge smile of relief and confidence. Dr Dierkman is phenomenal and this was just my first visit. The short version is I was referred to him by my new ortho spine physician, Dr Glattes. I had previously seen another dr for this hip issue and he was ok, but always felt rushed and didn’t fully seem to spend the time and explain things. Dr Dierkman went above and beyond to spend time to show me step by step my scans and X-ray results, expla... read more

Dr. Dierckman said my life one year ago, by replacing my hip, I was not able to walk for at least 4 years. It changed my life and I was able to walk in make a wish fundraiser for two miles three months after my surgery.

Dr. Dierckman is the G.O.A.T.!! 1st outpatient total hip surgery at Southern Hills I’m told. Surgery at 0700 and heading home at 1500. Walking as soon as I got to the room and pain free in the hip. Four days post-op I was walking to my seats at the Titans vs Chiefs game with NO issues. Recovery has been quick and therapy a breeze. Thankful to be pain free and have my mobility back compliments of Dr. Dierckman’s exemplary skills as a surgeon!!!

BEST. SURGEON. EVER. My background: I am young and had a major hip surgery as a teenager—following that operation, I experienced hip pain for the next 10 years. Many doctors dismissed my symptoms. Dr. Dierckman changed my life. He took the time to listen, had me do proper imaging (X-rays & MRI arthrogram), and concluded that I had FAI. With minimally-invasive arthroscopic hip surgery, he was able to fix my labral tear and shave down the bony rim. Recovery was fast! If you are suffering from hip pain, I highly recommend makin... read more

Dr. Dierckman is INCREDIBLE. I cannot believe the amount of support & communication I receive. There was practically no bruising from surgery and the entry wounds have healed to be invisible. Such a great doctor. He explained everything so that I could understand and when I went for office visits, there was no wait time. They have great structure and a great doctor.

Dr. Dierckman is very good at what he does. I came in with a labral tear in my hip that had been misdiagnosed by another orthopedist as a back problem and he instantly identified it as a hip problem and got me into surgery within a month. The online portal was very helpful for all of my pre-surgery questions. During the day if I had a question it would often be answered within 10 minutes of me asking it and if it was after hours it would be answered promptly the next day. I have been very satisfied with my care at SCOI.

Best bedside manner of ANY physician I have ever encountered. Dr. Dierckman always goes the extra mile to ensure that I know he cares about my experience and how his work is affecting me. He is a genuinely good human with scruples, not just scalpels. All that AND he's a stellar technician. Who could ask for more? On a scale of 1-10, I would give Brian Dierckman a 20. No kidding.
