As a former Division I athlete, I fully understand the unique demands athletes place on their bodies, and how devastating injuries can be. I treat each and every athlete differently, as no single treatment is "perfect" for all patients. I am a very conservative doctor, and always consider conservative measures first. My ultimate goal is to get you back to the sport you enjoy as quickly and safely as possible using the most current and cutting edge techniques available.

Dr Dierckman is a amazing surgeon. I’m 41 years old and I was born with hip dysplasia and I was denied surgery by multiple doctors. I wanted to live a normal life with no pain. When I went and saw Dr Dierckman and saw my X-rays he automatically suggested the surgery. After 2 weeks after surgery I can walk a little without the walker and I’m feeling no pain. I can’t wait till I’m fully recover. I’m very satisfied with my results. Thank you Dr Dierckman for giving me my life back and to enjoy it while I’m young.
Everything from the beginning prep of my surgery to the post ...has been perfect..I am very satisfied with my Experience!
Did a great job with the surgery, keeping tabs on me and ensuring I had home health care all lined up.
Dr. Dierckman has now done meniscus cleanup on both of my knees within the past 8 months. After both procedures I was back in my yoga class three days after surgery. He listens and provides care based on my priorities. The rest of the staff is also very courteous and conscientious about everything from actual treatment to billing and coaxing insurance to get with the program. If SCOI provided service in general practice or other specialties, I'd likely use them across the board.
Dr. Dierckman is great at listening, and diagnosing the correct problems, extremely happy with my surgeries that I had to have on both legs. I would recommend him to anyone.Great Surgeon!!!
Dr. Dierckman truly cares about his patients and ensuring they receive the care they need to get better. He knew exactly how to deal with my injury, and after surgery I am finally making a recovery thanks to him!
Friendly, professional, and straight forward.
Dr Dierckman’s expertise and enthusiasm were both obvious from my first consultation through the post-surgery follow-up. He explains things fully, in easy-to-understand and comforting terms. And clearly his knowledge of and success with hip-replacement is unsurpassed. Without hesitation I recommend him, his ability, and his friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff to anyone considering this life-altering surgery.
Dr. Dierckman is by far a great surgeon and a caring doctor who cares about his patients. He gets right to the point and wants the patient to have a full productive lifestyle. Dr. Dierckman has done both my knees and I have been so happy with the results. His team is one of the most supportive and informed teams I have ever come across.
