Doctor Eric Ferkel stays up-to-date with the current studies leading the medical field. He is great at communication. He cares about his patients. He connects and makes sure you feel comfortable. He’s very meticulous and always strives for excellence. He takes his time to be sure his job is well done. He also guides you through the healing process with all the best tools and information and is well rounded at comprehensive care involving vitamins and nourishment with medication exercise PT and overall health.

My husband and I were very impressed with Dr. Dierkman’s knowledge of the hips from our first appointment all the way through my hip replacement. He also has a great bedside manner. I was at peace going into my surgery with his abilities and the many successful hip replacements in his past. We are very satisfied with our choice and our due diligence that led us to his care. His staff is also top notch! From his back office folks to his his NP and PA. A solid team all around!

I was referred to Dr. Dierckman by my surgeon in my hometown of Chattanooga. Upon traveling to Nashville to meet Dierckman, I was instantly impressed. He was willing to do surgery and get it approved by my insurance when my hometown doctor (who is also a fabulous surgeon as he operated on me in 2016) was unable to get insurance to cover what I needed done to my hip. I have been seeing Dr. Dierckman for some issues with my left shoulder. He is the best doctor not only professionally...but also in the way he treats his patients...with understanding, caring and connection. He is one of the best doctors I have ever dealt with...he is a very fine person in addition to being a great doctor.

Dr. Dierckman has put my husband and me at ease through the entire process of a hip replacement. He answered all of our questions very patiently. It was evident to both of us how much he wanted to help me. The surgery went very well. His office has been very quick to respond to any calls or emails I've sent with questions during my recovery. Dr. Dierckman did my hip replacement in June. Everything went well from beginning to end including meeting with his nurse Taylor Moore ahead of time, to PT visits before and after surgery. Everyone in Dr. Dierckman's offices in Brentwood and Franklin are helpful and so kind! PT is going well with helpful exercises, again the kindness continues. I would highly recommend Dr. Dierckman and Elite Sports Medicine for your medical needs.
