Many believe that Abe Doumar, founder of Doumar's Cones & Barbecue, gave the world its first ice cream cone. Doumar was a traveling salesman retailing paperweights at the famous St. Louis World's Fair in 1904. When an ice cream seller exhausted his stock of paper dishes to hold the ice creams, he got a nearby waffle maker to roll his waffles into cones and thus invented the waffle cone. The service was awful today!! We are former servers and pride ourselves on leaving approximate gratuity. However, this young, server #4, obviously does not like her job. So sorry we made a special trip tonight!!�
Fast friendly service. Great ice cream, burgers and atmosphere.

The atmosphere is pretty old school which we loved! The food was good nothing crazy but the prices are very reasonable.
We always come to Doumars when we are in town. Love the food and the drive up service!
