Many believe that Abe Doumar, founder of Doumar's Cones & Barbecue, gave the world its first ice cream cone. Doumar was a traveling salesman retailing paperweights at the famous St. Louis World's Fair in 1904. When an ice cream seller exhausted his stock of paper dishes to hold the ice creams, he got a nearby waffle maker to roll his waffles into cones and thus invented the waffle cone. RecommendedGreat place for young and old a like! Fabulous ice cream cones! Made with love every day! First one to invent the cone and the machine is still being used today! All their desserts are fabulous, you can’t go wrong on any of them...hand crafted right inside the diner! You can eat inside or in your car, they come to you! It’s always been our to go place, but we go more often now because of COVID-19!!! It’s a family run business passed down for many generations. Why are you still reading! Get to Doumar’s!! 💕🧜♀️

awesome place if you like old school diners, The barbecue and the burgers were awesome, I actually had two barbecues they were so good, The ice cream and milkshakes were awesome my son had two ice cream cones, We met the owner , And he was really nice,
wanted a hotdog. no chili, no problem. hot dog a tad overdone, sliced and on a HAMBURGER BUN!?!? Gross. fries bland. vanilla shake, vanilla.

Love going to Doumar’s, brings back lots of good memories. The food is always great & reasonably priced. Just a fun place to eat.
Well worth it!!! Hamburger,fries, and especially the limeade was delicious. I can mark it off my Triple D bucket list!!! All the way from Oklahoma and I will be back again!!! A true Drive in Diner❤️
Just doesn’t get any better than a limeade and a barbecue with fries from doumars. And then the lime sherbet in the doumars cone tops it off 🥰

There is not one bad thing I can say about Doumars. Their staff is amazing and they’re food is definitely the best, it blows any fast food restaurant out of the water. You get great quality food for a very low price!!!
