Customer complaints team don’t want to listen. I had booked 5 nights over Christmas for my 30th birthday, emailed the hotel in advance in hope they would make it extra special. As we arrived our room had been cancelled (I booked the rooms early in the year and my bank card had expired, so at 6pm they charged my card which declined due to being expired something I couldn’t have prevented or even known about) after a 9 hour flight the last thing we needed was to be advised our room was cancelled and there was no other rooms av... read more

The rooms are serviceable but not new. The breakfast coupon is worthless for me - there’s nothing I eat at either end of their continental buffet. There is no room service. There was no coffee or cups in my room.

Poor Unfriendly Service!!! Sour Front Reception Staff!! On arrival after 28 hrs of travel my Visa Card wouldn’t work to pay for our accomodation. Bank had declined as they thought it was fraudulent use. I requested to use the reception phone and was immediately declined. Managed to find a phone thanks to a lovely Duane Reade lady at almost midnight and sorted the problem in minutes. Then back to reception to check in to a holiday worth $4200 reluctantly but being NYC at Xmas there was no where else to go! No room service, po... read more

Nice hotel,good sized room and friendly staff,bar prices very expensive,the one thing i didnt like was the $350 charge for my room,ive already paid so i dont see why this is necessary to check in,stayed in 6 other NYC hotels and never experiened this.

The location was really good. We were close to a lot of places we had to visit. and a McDonalds next door was perfect because we have small kids. Rooms were clean and somewhat spacious. The only con was they denied us early check in because no rooms were available. They lied. There are a handful of rooms they keep and do not offer to guests because its too close to the elevators and noisy for most guests. good location ok rooms however it grossed me out when I found a stranger's clothes in my room. so thoroughly clean? No.

more than 30 people waiting for their rooms!!! and after geeting the room an hour+ late: got a choclate cookie as a compensation

Good location. Nice cookies. Good location. Awful awful reception. At times you cannot make your way through because of the amount of people trying to check in. Ditch the bar and extend the reception area.

i love the hotel but agree with Steve on the other review about the lack of decent coffee facilities in the room! Amazing staff though, really friendly and of course the cookies are delicious. Coffee at breakfast could be stronger though, its so thin and weak
