in the neighborhood but not willing to go in – I have lived in this neighborhood for 40 years I have walked into this store 5 times to buy dog food, 2 times they were out, once the bag was out of date next they stopped carrying the brand and that was last time. Every time I entered the store the smell of dog urine made me sick, I chose not to return. My sister took her schnauzer there a couple weeks ago for 2nd time she said there were scabs on him a few days after and he was acting very afraid & timid since they brought him... read more
Attitude Adjustment Needed – This should be pretty simple. Upset employees equals unsatisfied customers. I'm sure not many other businesses on this site have the issue of overwhelmed and upset employees lashing out the only way they can. I come to my current job everyday thankful that I am not walking into that store anymore. I have a stable employer, my job isn't constantly being threatened, and I don't go home crying. My boss says thank you, good job, and asks how I'm doing, all things I never heard from Sunday. The point ... read more
So sorry – I am responding to the last post. I am so sorry that you made the decision to not bring your animal to us for the best care possible. We are one of the few places that care for animals and have a boarding license through the county. We have no claims with the B B B nor any claims with the state. We work hard to make sure that all animals that stay with us have the one on one expert care your animal deserves. I would love to send you a detailed email about the fiasco this site has caused. Almost all of the negative... read more
Holy Smokes! – I stopped by the other day to just check out prices...which were just okay. and i went on here to get a look what some people say and i've got to say... i am probably not going to use them. I am not sure what's going on here..but it looks all kinds of craziness. and everyone is all over the place...which shows signs of...i don't know... but it doesn't make me comfortable. or make me want to leave my dog there. thought i'd share. take care.
Happy employee – Ok, Miss K from helll, give it a rest. I have been working for Sunday for a couple years now and she has never yelled at anyone. She was very fair with you even though you were the worst groomer ever. Sunday had to fully refund at least 10 of your "grooms" in the 3 weeks that you "worked" here. We are still getting complaints about your grooming. I thought Sunday was insane to try to work with you. She told me she felt sorry for you and wanted to teach you how to be a talented groomer. I saw her on many occa... read more
The truth about these reviews – I am the parent of a former employee, and find the business owner's misuse of this site to be shameful. For the record, all the complaints in the reviews on this site were verified by my child to me many times. The owner is outrageously abusive, rude and out of control towards her employees, screams at them, writes innapropriate memos to them, and her business practices are questionable. Having heard what I have from my child, I would never take my loved pet to one of these two shops for any k... read more
Setting it straight. – As a previous employee, I have looked over the reviews here on city search and found truth and utter lies. So for once, lets set it straight. The dog and cat spa is NOT a bad place for your dogs, cats, or even the occasional tiny furry friend or what have it. The facilities are clean and spacious. I know its clean, because I personally have mopped, scooped, and scrubbed it myself. Yes there will be dogs barking and playing. hence its called "daycare" You wouldn't bring a 5 year old child to daycare and... read more
The reality of it all... – I read through these and I realize that both the positive things and negative things are true to an extent. I am not ashamed to admit I am a previous employee, but a current customer. I have to admit that the services and prices are great, while there are things about the facility that are negative, and yes, maybe the owner is harsh on employees at time. But what people don't realize is what personal things others go through. If someone is stressed out or going through a hard time, or opening a new... read more
Despite the very biased review from an obviously disgruntled ex-employee, this place rocks – Ok, first of all. Wow. I'm not sure what's going on with the person posting all of these things about how the employees are supposedly treated like pooop, and all of that, but seriously, is that the best idea? I don't know how big this doggy day care industry is (I guess its getting bigger each day, because I keep reading about it), but still... there goes your recommendation to work at another place in town, lol! Anyways, I've been ... read more
