one of the male nurses told me he'd bring me a noose if it meant I'd stop crying. exactly what someone wants to hear from hospital staff. especially in the psych ward. thanks dixie.
RecommendedSaying this facility is top notch is an understatement! Their ICU staff are the best I have ever seen!!! I was being greeted by staff everywhere in the facility. this place actually cares about patients and their family! Oh and the bistro has great food and very low prices! You cant ask for more!

Same day surgery was amazing....
I was admitted yesterday for a breast lumpectomy and I was so impressed. I went straight back for surgery. No waiting. I was immediately prepped for surgery starting with what I was dreading most. The IV they have a new way of doing the IV now. They insert a very small needle with numbing meds and then insert the IV. Almost painless. From the point I walked into the surgical unit I was such good care and would recommend them to anyone. I have also had a biopsy and blood work done here and the same thing. I had a breast biopsy done today and both Andrea, who did the ultrasound, and Dr. Hopkins, who did the biopsy, were amazing!! I didn't feel any pain, even with the needle for the Lidocaine! (At least until it wore off! :)) There was even a Weber student there, who I assumed would make things more awkward because it was one more male in the room, but even he made me feel comfortable! You did a fantastic job! Thanks for your help in a difficult, uncomfortable situation!
