Dixie has lost it's patient focus and for their well being. My wife (a retired RN spending the last 20 years in PACU) had surgery there 4/8. She was was released from PACU too soon and sent to her room. I was there when she arrived in her room at 5pm and she was overwhelmed by pain, her teeth were chattering from the assault. She got little to no intervention and it went on for hours. I asked what pain level she was at at 9pm and it was a 7. Great place to go when you’re ill or have been in an accident!! Great doctors and nurses, etc!!
My Dad was recently admitted for flu and pneumonia from a local skilled nursing home. Staff was awesome! They were so attentive and explained everything. Food service and housekeeping was top notch. He's doing great and we really appreciate the staff, especially Aubrey on the third floor!
we have been to the er and for tests.both times we felt like we were an inconvenience to the hospital. the level of care has gone down since and during the remodel.
