First of all, if you have all your eggs in the right financial basket, not only would you have a proper down payment but also excellent credit to be accepted by the bank. However, if you don't this is where Divvy Homes can be a blessing to your unfavorable situation. You must be ready to go from beginning to end which means that once you are approved by Divvy you need to have all your down-payment and deposit ready, get a good agent (which Divvy will provide), and know where and what type of property you want, and just like ... read more

You guys are dishonest about using rental rates for homes comparable in the area. After I pointed out the same homes in the same neighborhood and provided the rental rates for those houses DIVVY still would not discuss the rate. Nor could DIVVY provide proof they utilize a 3rd party company to get those rental rates. We were given a breakdown of the rental rates and savings for each month for a house we were making an offer on. When the paperwork got to us to sign not only were the rates much higher it also went up $160 more... read more

Dont remember how I found Divvy but Im glad I did. Researched then before I took the chance of contacting themselves. Noticed they were in the New ********** and they were a legit company. They helped me get into a home quicker than I could have done on my own. The realtor they assigned me was not the best. I would not recommend her to anyone but I pushed through the search process and got into a home. A year later through the buy back program, I just closed on my home. Im very grateful to have found divvy and would recommen... read more

I love my house. Divvy was good at making sure repairs get completed. The buyback process was pretty simple. I would say Divvy needs a customer service call center for existing customers. It was always a hassle trying to get any of them on the phone. You always have to text or email and wait for a response within ***************************************** the middle of buying your house back. One thing I hate I didnt mention to Divvy during my lease is that the plumbing contractor did a s***** restoration job to my ceiling af... read more

Congratulations on the buyback of your home! We are happy we could assist you in your home buying journey. Thank you for the feedback as well. We have expanded our capacity to decrease wait times for our existing tenants over the past couple of months and will continue to monitor this as we grow.

Me and my girlfriend just recently submitted our application to divvy in hopes and buying a home through divvy but after reading these terrible comments Im entirely skeptical about proceeding and or giving them any of my money! I thought this company wouldve been a great thing but I just feel so bad for all the people who invested and got done so badly in the process. I shouldve read the reviews prior to applying but at least I havent given them any money or signed any contracts yet.

Very dissatisfied with this company! It's very funny that this company will make sure they get funds from you, but take their time sending you over all the necessary documents needed for closing. How are we given a closing date, without a lease agreement! Who does that?! This company is very unorganized. After being told that we will definitely close on the date provided and sent an email a day or two before the closing date that we were going to close, the closing department never sent over a lease agreement. Not to mention... read more

Zero stars if i could. The agent lies and tells you they'll do a thorough home inspection. Their inspection misses glaring issues and the management team changes the story and says they only inspect to make sure the house is functional. Also the management doesn't seem to know how a house is built so you spend many email exchanges with what feels like someone who has never lived in a house. If you have no choice get your own home inspector. Their contract clears them of responsibility when the mortgage company asks for corre... read more

We sold our home to Divvy and it was an extremely frustrating experience. We had our closing date (which they chose) and they didn't get the paperwork in to the title company in a timely manner. They weren't responding to the title company or to their realtor. We filed 2 extensions with them so it was a week and a half later when we closed. They were extremely unprofessional, stating things like they are a large company and have several properties they are purchasing. However, if you are a large company your deals should be ... read more

The worst "landlords" we have ever had. Had everything from no water heater to carbon monoxide poisoning to a possum infestation in the first month because divvy refused to complete the agreed on repairs. I would not recommend this company.
