I find it strange that I was receiving emails from Divvy up until the point of NEEDING to speak with someone?? You asked me to schedule a phone appointment in which I did on 6/8/2022 @ 3:40PM and no one bothered to call me regarding my questions nor have I received a response to my email. This is unprofessional as a company who is seeking to obtain large amounts of money from hardworking individuals. I can see now why you have such terrible reviews according to the BBB. Divvy put in an offer on a property we are selling. They Put us through hoops that even FHA don't require, we played their game, gave them 7k in consessions. They made set up traps for a supposed ground hog, $760 for 2 exterminators. Then made us pay for 2 inspections by licensed contractors,one for the plumbing and one for the structure, $1,200. Went the the closing table, CLOSED ON THE PROPERTY AT THE ***** COMPANY and now they are refusing to fund the deal because their buyer tenant doesn't have the money to pay them. If ... read more

Sounds about right! I recently was told I met all of the criteria but they would put me through to Credit Pros. My credit score was over the needed number to rent. Divvy turned around and did a hard credit pull and then told me I was denied. Credit Pro stated that I met the criteria and that it was strange. I had also heard that minorities were often turned down by divvy way more often than their candidates. The approval is supposed help people who are working on repairing credit while saving for down payment. **************... read more

Were sorry we werent able to approve you for our program at this time. All of our clients must meet our minimum credit requirement in order to proceed. We do reset applications after thirty days if you'd like to try again.

I'm a brand new company. I applied for the credit builder and I was very excited to get started on my business credit. I called Monday morning on May 16. I asked for the credit builder to explained and broke down to. They didn't tell me what I needed to know. And I make a payment of $150 and had a unexpected expense that came up and needed change the payment to $50. I was told that I was approved and then they took my $500 in ******* money and my bid was rejected than I was was given a application update and was told that I was no longer qualified, when I asked for my money returned I was told to fill out a form to return my money so I did and it's been 2 weeks since I filed it and have not gotten it yet when they needed the money to place a bid they took the money from my bank account the same day now they won't answer the phone and won't return my calls ,emails and text me.

Disappointing to hear all these complaints. I was on the Credit Karma app and there was a section that stated, "Want a chance at $20,000?" so, I clicked on it and it took me directly to Divvy. I entered my information (minus my ss#) not knowing that this was for a rent to own program. I also received an approval notification. Waiting to see how this will effect my credit report. In the initial online pre-qualification process, I entered an incorrect ss#, but with my correct name and address. Guess what? The soft credit check came back as approved with a loan amount. This let's me know Divvy is not a well structured company and lacks integrity.

They told me I was denied. Then approved. Asked me to upload personal documents then still said I see was not approved. Told me no hard credit pulls then said they must do hard credit pull. I have to move soon and any hard credit pull will affect me negatively. I believe this whole thing is a scam.
