I put in application and than the application was never submitted. I am trying to figure out how they are running people's information if the application hasn't been submitted. They stated I wasn't approved due accounts in collection but then again I am approved for a FHA loan. I am glad I didn't get involved with these scammers. They better not ran me and my husband credit without our permission or application being submitted. These people are trash. I will be filing with FTC if they did.

Business response:

Hello *****, your application was submitted. You will only receive the decline information for submitted applications. Please reach out to us if you have further questions regarding your application. We're happy to clear any confusion.

Initially, we were pleased with Divvy in the actual purchasing process. But once Divvy got our down payment, all that changed. Divvy makes promises that are not kept, in regards to reimbursement s and repairs and does repairs on their time schedule with no regard for the impact on the families in the home and consistently is difficult to reach when a problem arises. I have waited 25 to 40 minutes on hold on average when calling customer service only to be shuffled to voice-mail and never get a return call. This company is cu... read more

I think this company downfall is poor communication skills I've messaged and emailed several times during my 3 weeks living in the home and they only answer 1/10 messages or they just picking and choosing what to respond to.

Business response:

Unfortunately this is not starting off on the right foot! Several necessities in This house dont work. And when I put a request in there always denied, Half of this house electrical outlets do not work. I am really confused on how this house passed inspection. This house is unlivable me and my husband have been experiencing nothing but issues since weve moved and Divvy has done absolute nothing. Your contractors that were supposed to come within three weeks they continue to keep rescheduling. We should not be responsible for... read more

I have tried to work with you guys my co-buyer passed away and you are trying to keep our down payment for 45 days after move out date which I need to move I am disabled and do not have the funds to move out. I cannot qualify with just my income so you said you are terminating the lease since the co-buyer is no longer living. I have been asking for just the down payment to move and you can take the current rent due, past utilities if any and damages if any out of the home savings we accumulated for the year living here. The ... read more

My husband and I got approved for a home. I am an Attorney in Fact so I asked to review the contracts they wanted us to sign before we moved forward with paying anything. They told me they can't do that and asked what questions do I have. I said "how can I sign something you won't let me look at?" Lol these people are clearly crooks. The lady showing houses voluntarily said "it's just a better faster way to buy a home... No gimmicks" and it immediately let me know this is a gimmick because why else would anyone say that unle... read more

Divvy is a ****. Their maintenance is a joke they don't even know how to fix things besides changing the battery in the smoke detector. The inspection revealed issues with the basement door and they recommend it be fixed Divvy received money from the seller to fix it but the maintenance people they sent out didn't do a thing. When I called Divvy it took forever to get someone on the phone and then emailing back and forth was a waste of time because they never gave me an answer on what they were going to do to fix the water c... read more

This company is lucky to get one star. After signing a contract to buy my home they pulled out of the deal 2 weeks later without offering back ****** money that is due should they break the contract. Reason for the pullout was they thought the buyers couldn't afford the monthly mortgage. Really???? Shouldn't they have checked credit and do their due diligence before entering into a contract with me. They even went as far as to do their inspection. That would not have changed the selling price of the contract but why go throu... read more
