Although there are improvements going on & dining facilities not great we have been well compensated for this. There are other good options available a free bus ride away!
Wonderful and clean resort Great services and food
My family flew in from California for a week at this resort. It's true that the amenities and food options are limited due to construction, and as a vegan that was disappointing. But the chef was very accommodating to me and my vegetarian mom, and all the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms are gorgeous and you can't beat the view we had of the lagoon! Yes, it's under construction, Yes, the food services were limited, but everything was just fine. Pool area is great. we had no issues.
After we made our reservation we received an email stating the resort was under construction. After speaking to another guest, we were informed of the gift card given to guests due to the inconvenience of the construction going on. First we called guest relations, they connected us with reservations, after speaking with a representative, my wife was put on hold for over 30 minutes then the call was disconnected. They need more food choices. Switch up the buffet food. Same food every day at the resort. Luggage ... do carry on. Took over six hours to get ours.
Unfortunately this time around I was very disappointed with this resort. I agree with many guest comments that the construction going on is more of a demolition! I spent three nights at this resort and my room was only cleaned once. Now for the amount of money I spent per night here, I was beyond disappointed! I am an annual pass holder and have stayed at many Disney hotels but this was, by far, my worse experience! Sorry Disney, but you did not meet my expectations this time around.
We stayed in Aruba, nice easy access to the bus to the parks. The rooms were plenty big enough. Loved the grounds and pools. Yes there was construction but there was no bother. This was our first visit to Disney and be honest we had high expectation and was let down by Epcot. Favorite was Animal Kingdom. Best was Universal Park except for the day our kids from Platte County High School were scheduled to perform and no one knew where they were to do that. The service and staff here are the best. I especially loved the decorations the cleaning lady left. This has made our stay at Disney wonderful!!!!
