We came down here that last time we were in FL staying in Amelia island and tonight we decided to visit again and drove all the way from Jacksonville to get ice cream. When we got to the window we were treated very rudely “DO YOU HAVE A MASK BECAUSE THEY ARE REQUIRED” while at the outside walk up window. Then just shut the window on us. It was very unprofessional and distasteful the way the employee handled the situation.

This place is ridiculous. I was in motel beside there along with other people that was staying in the motel. It was supposed to close at 9 pm and there was 8 cars still in drive thru. They served the people in front of me. They didn’t serve me and my kids. The open sign was on. The females was very rude about it. It is pathetic what they did. They are still people in drive thru as I type this at 9:22 pm. There is no reason they couldn’t serve me. I will never be back to this place.

Dole whip is my favorite, it’s our go to place every time we visit the island.
When I go to get take out and the person preparing and handling the food says they aren't wearing a mask because "we don't have to", I drive away. I won't support local businesses who don't support my health and safety. Instead we pulled up to another local national chain whose employees and food handlers were wearing masks and gloves. Sorry DeNucci's but Dairy Queen will get our business!
