Notable steakhouse offers a perfect piece of meat and impeccable hospitality. – White tablecloths, dark mahogany bar and big crystal bowl of colorful jelly beans are a few of the things greeting patrons entering the heavy wood door. Service is impeccable. The local favorite is the filet. Cooked to perfection, the eight- or 12-ounce filet is touted as the best steak in town. Sides are served family style. Savory mushrooms are marinated and sauteed for soft, yet firm, flavorable buttons. Potatoes au gratin are smothered in a c... read more
Incredible food, atmosphere and service! – Wow, I was a little bit nervous when we made the reservation, knowing it was a high dollar establishment and not knowing what to expect in terms of quality, but I was happily suprised. We had a great server, Kristen, and she made us feel more than welcome. After we ordered what ended up to be a fantastic meal, we were happy to see a generous portion an excellent taste in the product. If they have the Swordfish special, order it!!!! It was amazing. They have more wine, champagne, bra... read more
Pre-Theater Bargain! – We checked Zagat for restaurants with price-fixe menus near the theaters. For $40 you get a 3-course meal and quite a selection to choose from. My petite filet came out searing hot and the house potato concoction is sinful. I vowed I would only take 2 bites and ended up eating the entire 2-cup mound of garlic semi-smashed redskin potatoes. They must have had a bar of butter but it was worth it. Wine list is great and service was perfectly choreographed. Run, don't walk. Oh-one more thing: for the ladie... read more
Best overall experience in Denver – My wife and I had such a wonderful evening at Del Frisco's. Everything was perfect. The hostesses who greeted us were freindly and offered we have a drink at the bar before being seated. At the bar we were served promptly by an awsome bartender who recommended the pineapple martini, called the VIP. It was delicious. Our dinner was amazing! The apps (crab cake, king crab legs and shrimp) the dinner (bone-in filet and porterhouse) the sides (cream spinach, au grautin potatoes) were the best ... read more
Amazing service and delicious steak! – I have to say, this place does not disappoint... From the spacious interior, to the service and food - I left the place thoroughly satisfied on all counts - that cow did not die in vain. Great for business dining as well as a big occasion celebration. If you are a carnovore like myself and appreciate a quality slab of meat, I highly recommend checking this place out!
Average – For a romantic place this is a miss...more like a sports bar with high prices. The food was really good but the rest of the experience was ruined by loud convention goers in shorts and loud shirts. There is a dress code, guess no one can read.
Great Service – We are from Los Angeles and eat at all the best Steakhouses around the country...I have to say that Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House is one of my favorites...
Great Service – I went there Monday night, even it was Memorial Day it was still crowded. The atmosphere was refreshing, you don?t feel the crowd. The waiters are very kind and friendly. Filet mignon was the great and I strongly recommend the side dishes, mushroom and asparagus. There was an expert for wine selection in the restaurant and there was a novel like menu for wine. Expensive but worth it. Good place to take your family and visiting friends. White table cloth, quite restaurant but still is not boring.
Must have been a bad night for them, too bad for me. – Service was poor. Salad was good. Portions were small. Ribeye was overcooked but we had waited so I said OK. There was so much salt and pepper on the steak that I tried to scrape it off. It did not help. We all gradually finished our meals and when the waiter asked if I want to take my nearly complete steak with me, I explained that it was too salty to eat. He offered another but I declined as the rest of the party was ready to go. Lacking in attention to detail and qual... read more
