Souless – This giant hollow cavern, an abyssmal eatery brings shame and tears to a city already spoiled and vandalized by corporate nonsense. The food here is safe, is simple, is decent. Best steak in NYC – My friends and I were recommended Del Frisco's by our concierge at the W Hotel in Time Square. He made our reservations and we had a 15 minute walk and were seated as soon as we arrived. Great place! There were so many fine men there in suits. It seems like it would be a place to meet men.
Disreguard Foxgolf's Review – Del Frisco's Double Eagle sets the standard and they set it high. This is a fine dining steak house. If you are a vegitarian don't discredit them just because they don't cater to someone who eats against their biological makeup. We are all carnivores and Del Frisco's sets the stage to fill our deepest needs for meat. If you are a vegitarian or don't appreciate fine aged red meat then you shouldn't go. This is what they do and they do it very well.

Bad experience – It is clear from the minute you walk into this establishment that it is a high end restaurant. You would expect excellent service from such an establishment. While that may be true for your average meat eater, try being a vegetarian (vegan) out with a group of people looking for a great meal and visiting this place. Spare me with this place... – There are easily 30 steak oriented restaurtants in New York I would visit before I would waste another dollar in this completely over rated steak joint. I was embarassed at the fact that I brought my wife and in-laws there for dinner on Friday night. Upon arrival, the host/gm tried to sit the four of us around a 2 top. Best restaurant I've ever been to – I live out of town, but every time I go to Vegas, I have to eat at Del Frisco's. The lobster and filet mignon both melt in your mouth like butter. Everything is sooo good and flavorful, I wished that I had a bigger stomach to eat more. (Well, not really, but you know what I mean). The service was great and quick, and I felt like an appreciated guest from our waiter. I'm a customer for life, and only wish I lived closer!
Incredible place for a elegant and romantic steak dinner – I previously read reviews listed on CitySearch and some of them were not so favorable. I had eaten at Del Frisco's in the past and it had aways been wonderful. I wondered if my favorite restaurant had slipped. Thankfully my experience last Saturday was wonderful. Not impressed – just typed long review and it got erased due to "citysearch glitch". so i'll make this fast. :--) restaurant only good for quick business dinners. not good for tourists or couples etc. my filet mignon bit fatty and not as tasty as i've had elsewhere. my friend's filet was overcooked. side dishes and salads were good. cheesecake just ok. service was ok but we felt like we were being a bit rushed once we finished our meal.
