Quality Steak – I pride myself on a good knowledge of steak, specifically NYC steakhouses. With regards to overall experience I would not say this is the best steakhouse in the city. If you wish to be pampered and made to eel important as many of the reviewers I have read then I suggest either becoming more important or going elsewhere. For those of us content enough to enjoy a fantastic steak, I highly recommend Del Frisco's. They hae excellent meat, gracious staff and a rustic atmosphere. Yes, it gets crowded. Welcome to M... read more
Large Group--Hit or Miss – I've toyed between giving the Las Vegas location an Average or Recommended Rating. The wait staff was very prompt and attentive but as we sat down to the table--did not have time to enjoy the first drink before they wanted to take our order. "So we can get the menus off of the table" Felt very rushed through the meal. Waiter suggested a variety of appetizers for the table consisting of crab cakes, jumbo shrimp and calamari. All were good. The special of the night a 15'' bone in steak was not any bi... read more
Looks Like a Steakhouse War – This is so funny! I read the reviews here encouraging customers to go to AJ Maxwell's, and then went to citysearch for DelFriscos, and saw the same. OK, you got my attention, I'm in on this "steakhouse war". I'll check out both restaurants, being a steak lover I will eat at both of the local restaurants and write my review on which is the best. Stay tuned for more of the dish on is the better choice. I'LL BE BACK.
What a waste of my Money! – What a disappointment!! From the minute I walked through the doors, I had to force my way in through the crowd and there was no-one there to greet me. I felt uncomfortable and unwanted. After searching out the rude hostess, I was finally seated, with 2 of my friends in tow. You would thing they would try to get the dinner started on a positive note. I sat there at my table for at least half an hour before I got any attention. Our server seemed pre-occupued, monotoned and downright unprofessional. ... read more
Steak Lover's Delight – I went here for the first time last week with some family and a special guest. At first I wasn't sure what the hype was all about especially when the crowd was practically out the door and it sounded like I was on the floor of the stock exchange. With all these people I couldn't imagine the food quality could be so high. We finally sat down at our table and we ordered the double porterhouse and double eagle steak along with sides of oysters, crabcakes, shrimp cocktails, spinach, mash potatoes, and of ... read more
Really bad lunch – I went for a celebration with coworkers and we had an absolutely terrible lunch experience. From the minute we walked in, where people were backed-up through the door despite reservations, to the minute we sat down and our waitress came to the table it was a continuous downward spiral. Our server was overly casual and once she realized that she had used the wrong approach to the table, she quickly avoided us for the rest of the meal. I thought the bread was terrible, especially given the expectation that I... read more
Outstanding! – Top-notch quality in every sense of the word. Great service and a beautiful atmosphere. Cigar lounge on site for hanging out after or while waiting for guests. Responsive and highest quality!

Best steaks in charlotte PERIOD. – The Wine- 2004 Malbec was decanted and served, has good legs on the wine and a nice smooth taste. The Beer- Dogfish Head IPA, out of bottle, wonderful as usual. Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale, out of bottle, wonderful. The Appetizers- Perfectly cooked shrimp, with two kinds of sauces, the crab cakes were the best I've ever had, the sauce made it. The Salad- Caesar salad was great, looked like lettuce chips with tasty parmesan cheese and the dressing was wonderful with just a hint of anchovies... read more
