This feels like Fort Worth!! – Outstanding meal! The shrimp were succulent and all of our steaks were cooked perfectly. And seasoned perfectly, which is not done right very often. The wine stewards are a blast, one of them walked me into a Washington cab for $90 and it was terrific. The building is beautiful, the service is fluid and friendly. It's easy to see on my end why I'll be back.

We saw a very large rodent! – We were looking forward to dining here, but never made it to the table after a VERY LARGE Rodent (the site won't allow me to write the word R@T!!) scampered by us while waiting to be seated. The staff did not seem shocked by this guy scurrying past, which scared us even more (seriously, he was the size of a cat!). Definitely a special occasion restaurant (EXPENSIVE – We celebrated our 8th anniversary with another couple at Del Frisco's as a change from our usual place. It was very nice and the attention to detail was good as well. Service was excellent from the hostess stand to the wait staff. The menu is EXTREMELY pricey. We shared the Shanghi style Calamari which was excellent as well as the Oysters on the half shell. Best Steak and Shrimp Cocktail Ever – I don't know how they do it, but they manage to have the best shrimp cocktail I've ever tasted. Huge shrimp served with 3 different sauces, each one delicious. Steak is great as well. And the pineapple vodka.

really BAD! – COMPLETELY OVERPRICED and LOUD! We waited to sit and the server was completely rude. One of our guests food was undercooked and my salad had a hair in it.

VERY POOR! – Showed up for a 6:00 reservation ten minutes early and proceeded to WAIT at the bar for 40 minutes. No one EVER apologized. The menu is VERY pricey and is not emblematic of the quality of the dining experience. The steak was ordinary at best. After an overpriced, overrated dinner, we were rushed back to the bar to open the table up for the next fool. Not worth it.

A lot of $$$ for a little satisfaction – I took my wife of one year to Del Frisco's for our anniversary dinner. We have dined all over town, but we had not yet been here. The reception was very friendly and cordial, and they even wished up happy anniversary when we checked in. The first thing I noticed was that we could not get a bottle of wine for much less then $100, but dining in these establishments, that is to be expected. Cavernous Steak House – I visited Del Frisco during Restaurant Week. Upon entering, you could see that the decor was grand but maybe too much so. It seemed cavernous but the tables were set very nicely. The food was good but not great. The filet was definitely the best I have tasted.
