Best steak in NYC – My friends and I were recommended Del Frisco's by our concierge at the W Hotel in Time Square. He made our reservations and we had a 15 minute walk and were seated as soon as we arrived. Great place! There were so many fine men there in suits. It seems like it would be a place to meet men.
wow!!!!!!!!! – this IS simply the best steak house in the world.. the food is the great, the place is beautiful, the service is amazing!! del frisco's has the coolest staff in nyc.. do yourself a favor and go experience this place for yourself!!!!!!
Spare me with this place... – There are easily 30 steak oriented restaurtants in New York I would visit before I would waste another dollar in this completely over rated steak joint. I was embarassed at the fact that I brought my wife and in-laws there for dinner on Friday night. Upon arrival, the host/gm tried to sit the four of us around a 2 top. Not impressed – just typed long review and it got erased due to "citysearch glitch". so i'll make this fast. :--) restaurant only good for quick business dinners. not good for tourists or couples etc. my filet mignon bit fatty and not as tasty as i've had elsewhere. my friend's filet was overcooked. side dishes and salads were good. cheesecake just ok. service was ok but we felt like we were being a bit rushed once we finished our meal.
the best steakhouse experience we've ever had – Far better than ben benson"s , mortons, or any other chain or stand alone steakhouse. waitress was as efficient as she was beautiful. food was prompt, delicious, cooked to perfection.
One of the Best – Went for lunch recently, had the business special (highly recommend). Service was excellent, and the view of the passer-by's is great. From apps to dessert, Del Frisco's is fantastic.
Great steak, but very corporate atmosphere – The steak is good but the ambiance is somewhat lacking. It seems to be mostly corporate types who dine here, which is understandable.
wow. great steaks! – the place is big and can feel a little intimidating, but after a few 'VIP' martinis you get over it quick. Definitely order the VIP maritini. Very tasty. Went on a Friday during prime hours. Best of All Worlds – I can be a tough critic, especially at places where you pay a pretty penny for your meal. However, this place is top notch in every aspect of dining. As a regular at this fine establishment, I can tell you that the last critic's review is an aberration. The service is prompt and friendly and the food portions are generous and cooked exactly to your liking.
