I am a new patient and a nurse with over 40 years health care experience. I was diagnosed with basal and squamous cell cancer and have received treatment for many years. Dr. Schappell did a though exam, identified areas needing treatment and made recommendations. She listened to my decisions with good eye contact and understanding. Dr. Schappell removed suspicious skin lesions and reported pathology results promptly. She is a skilled and caring physician who has earned my highest recommendation.
Dr. Schappell listens to her patients concerns. I always recommend Dr. Schappell to family and friends when searching for a great Dermatologist
She was very unprofessional and rude. Her notes from my first visit was not accurate, she did not help me with the problem and when questioned, she became defensive and walked out of the office. Told me to look for another professional. I was with my mother, who witnessed the whole thing and could not believe it. I would never recommend Dr. Schappel- and I just saw that other people have also wrote poor reviews- please read before going there!
