Dr. Levin is the best. Love his professionalism, directness and he is a great surgeon. I went from 5.5 yrs of pain management to having him do fusion surgery on my L5-S1 and 3 weeks out of surgery I stopped all pain medications and feel fantastic! I am pain free!!! He also responds to e-mails when I had questions which made it really nice too!
I enjoyed my first visit with Dr. Levin. He seemed thorough and took time to explain my sciatica and offered several recommendations for treatment. The followup has been horrible. Trying to get an appt so that he could administer a cortisone treatment has been horrendous. Staff don’t return calls. Messages say the office is closed, which has perplexed the answering service. And here I sit two weeks later- in severe pain-and still no appt after leaving numerous messages. Outrageous!
Dr. Levin is EXCELLENT! --caring, interested, & communicative. He explains things well. He assumes I am intelligent enough to understand what he says, but patiently explains when I do not. He greets with a warm, welcoming smile--even when he's having a hectic day. He performed two surgeries for me; I had no complications with either. He is willing to admit an issue is out of his purview & ready to refer to whom he feels best to handle it. I would, & have, most heartily refer anyone to him!
on the first visit he took the time to review my history and to explain exactly what the options were and why he was recommending fusion over the other options, he also took the time to answer all my questions. His staff made sure all providers were under my insurance and arranged for in home physical therapy instead of rehab facility after the operation. I highly recommend Dr. Levin.
The staff ignores request even the managers that work for the doctor are very impolite to customers. Do not recommend this practice to anyone. Do not return calls, do not care for their clients. Make many mistakes.
I suffered from low back pain and sciatica for many years. I tried physical therapy, epidural steroid injections, I even tried acupuncture. Nothing worked. Finally, my primary care doctor asked that I see Dr. Levin. He was very kind and patient and determined where my pain was coming from. In June of 2016, he performed an operation called a minimally-invasive TLIF that was life-changing. I have not an ounce of pain now, I am back at the gym exercising regularly, and I couldn't be happier.
Dr. Levin performed my cervical fusion and L5/S1 fusion within three months of each other. He kindly and carefully worked we me as I considered all alternatives. After a year of working through our options, I elected to have both surgeries. We discussed the my personal goals, the risks, the procedures, and a recovery plan. Today, after following Dr. Levin’s recovery advice, I am riding my road and mountain bicycles with great confidence and energy.
Dr Levin is nice but is ALWAYS running late and his office staff is unprofessional to the extreme. If you don't mind waiting AN HOUR OR MORE beyond your appointment time on every visit and STILL not being seen (in some cases we have just given up and left) then this place is fine. The staff lies about his schedule even when asked point blank how much he is running behind and being told we could not wait more than 30-45 minutes. We have had it with this place and will find another practice.
Saw him when he first came to his current practice, and he was great. Saw him recently and did a 360- interupting me all the time when i was speaking. Horrible visit, I wont be going back to him.
