All that is great and all that is bad with fine dinning – Let me preface this by saying that I went there expecting to dislike some aspects of the experience that is crush, but in the end my expectations were proven wrong and as such had nothing to do with my rating. After reading many of the reviews on this site I decided that Crush would not be for me because any place that has snobby staff is not for me but encourages by a friend I finally accepted to try it. Much to my surprise the staff was nice courteous and very helpf... read more

Good food and service – Very nice place with balanced food and fine service. Scallops were excellent and a couple of apps that we had were very good as well. Desserts are well presented and tasty. Parking was somewhat difficult but we will go back to enjoy more of the menu.

Crush helped us have a wonderful date night! – My husband and I went to Crush last night. We were running a bit late for our 5:30 reservation, but I called and they said it wouldn't be a problem to seat us. We were greeted at the door + shown to our table by a very friendly hostess. Our waitress was fantastic! She made great recommendations for us. I was disappointed because they had changed their menu and I had been looking forward to the rose cocktail. She and the bartender put their heads together and made a rose drink th... read more

Overrated – We sampled several dishes and nothing was memorable. I felt like I could cook most of the food at home with better results and less annoying atmosphere and patrons. You definitely get the vibe that everyone feels like they are quite the foodies "ooh and aahing" over dishes that are lackluster. And the price point is just not worth it. We tried it once and I don't think we will bother trying it again.

Beautiful Food – I have been to Crush a few times and I have always had a fantastic experience. I love to take my foodie friends here. Particularly love sitting at the bar so that you can see kitchen staff at work. If you like Foie Gras it is a must have when you dine here. The short ribs are always popular with everyone I?ve taken to Crush. Perfect comfort food. The staff is professional and the atmosphere is hip and modern. The presentation of each dish is beautiful.

occasional brilliance, but mostly dissapointing – It's true -- there are some dishes here that are really outstanding -- like the foie gras -- but for the most part, we left incredibly dissappointed from: - meats that were completely oversauced and overdone - a completely ignorant waiter who had no idea of the basics of recommending and serving wine - an eye popping bill (over $200 for a mid range wine and 2 courses each) - a hostess who clearly who too much attitude. If you're looking for that over the top dining experience... read more

Crushing on Crush – Perfect night on the town, its my monthly dinner and a movie with my boyfriend. We start the night off by watching a movie downtown, doing our best not to eat much popcorn. My boyfriend mentioned we were going to attempt to sit at the bar at a restaurant on Madison afterwards. As we walked in to the restaurant, I was in love with the decor. The restaurant, quaint, elegant, and very cozy. You?re walking into an old manor house, and the whole place feels very homey. Your first breath is filled with deliciou... read more

Absolutely FANTASTIC – Often, when I dine at restaurants, I find that the service more than anything is careless, uninvolved, and mindless. Not the case with Crush, I am happy to say. My first experience with Crush was exceptional, start to finish. Service was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. The menu; inventive, tasty, and fresh. I find it refreshing to know that there is a restaurant in Seattle who is willing to bend over backwards for it's guests. Chef Jason Wilson and his staff are truely "Servants of the Craft." Durin... read more

Killer food, excellent presentation – I saw the chef Jason Wilson on the Martha Stewart show and decided that on my next trip to Seattle I would give his place (Crush) a try.... and I am so glad that I did! Chef Wilson did not disappoint. Everything the four of us had at the table was spot on... flavor, presentation, smell... everything. I loved the Dungeness Crab Cake... melted in my mouth and the Foie Gras was the star food of the table. The place was a bit crowded but that should be expected of anything that is this good.... read more
