Ordered chair May 18 when it was in stock; CB2 shipped it immediately. When I didn't receive it they claimed it was "lost," but by then it was back ordered until, supposedly, July. They strung me along for months as I called multiple CS agents, waiting on hold an hour each time, to get status. Also tried email to CS. Each time the agent (Alejandra, Nilsa, Carl, Linda, Sue, Caley) promised to call me back with status but never did. Each time the agent promised the replacement chair in late July. BUYER BEWARE - I want people to be made aware before they make the decision to purchase from CB2. My experience has led me to believe that CB2 is not about the customer experience. Perhaps they are too big and just doesn’t matter. I searched for a new couch for months; excited about completing my living room before summer when my family was expected to arrive. I ordered 2 day shipping on an expensive gift item, 3 days later I still did not have the item. The company tried to argue about the math vs weekends, I had to point them to there own shipping policy online. They made me wait an additional day to see if the order would come in, it did not. They agreed to overnight the order. They overnighted the order on Tuesday, today is Thursday and I still do not have it, tracking shows the overnight will not arrive until SATURDAY. I purchased a gift for my niece online from CB2 for Christmas on 12/9/17. On 12/14, I received an email from CB2 saying "you put this item in your cart but you didn't order it." I thought that was weird but it's a SUPER busy time of year so I went back and ordered the SAME item on 12/14/2017. I got a notice that ONE item was shipping on 12/17/17. When I talked to my niece on 12/25, she told me she received TWO of the same item. When I looked at my credit card, I see I was charged for two. This is completely unacceptable. I f... read more

Wow! I goofed big time and shipped a gift for a friend to an old address so she never received it. Called Crate & Barrel who said they would look into it. They shipped another order to the correct address no questions asked, no charge. I will be ordering from them again.

I called to close my card and when I made the request it was pretty straightforward. After confirming the account was closed, the system asked if I wanted it to fax me a confirmation of the account closure. I said yes assuming there might be another option for receiving the confirmation other than fax, but there wasn't. The next message, asked if you want to cancel the request to confirm. We purchased eight of the ****** Ladder Back dining chairs around six months ago. After just a few weeks, the finish began chipping off the chairs on the seat, legs, and back rest. We called Crate and Barrel to complain about the problem. We sent photos of the issue expecting it to be resolved quickly since we know the great reputation Crate and Barrel has.
