She treats her patients like real people and explains everything that needs to be done in a way you can relate and understand. And her staff is amazing as they take care of you
Each visit is treated as most important to you (the patient) with explanations of treatments and next steps.
Dr. Yau is a shining star in oncology treatment. She is a great source of information, open to discussing different options, and has no trace of dismissiveness when consulting with the patient. We are moving to Oregon in a month. I wish I could take her and the rest of the oncology staff working out of the Georgetown Texas Oncology site with us.
I have been treated for over 5 years by Dr. Yau for issues related to life-threatening blood clots in both legs. Dr. Yau is always very friendly and very Attentive to my concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Yau for those in need of her specialties, particularly in hematology. She also has an excellent staff at Texas Oncology for completion of blood work up and other relevant duties.

After seeing an oncologist in Houston for a number of years, I made a decision to find a local oncologist. Dr. Yau was my choice and she has not been a disappointment. She is the ultimate professional. I always have the greatest of confidence in her. Very good in communicating with me in terms I can understand . Plus I just plain enjoy her . A very caring person.
Dr. Yau is an excellent Doctor . I had a consultation with her concerning some Hematology issues I have regarding surgeries I may have in the Future. She listened to all my concerns and recommended some additional blood tests . She is a very caring Doctor and I would highly recommend her .
