Although in previous visits we felt like it was questionable, last night's visit to the ER my daughter received exceptional care. The two doctors that saw her were great. As well as the two nurses. We were there 11 hours but they made sure when we left we had answers and she felt much better. This is definitely a positive change for this hospital.
Based on recent ER vists with a family member: This place is awesome if it's the last place you ever want to see. The 70 year old southern belles on staff are extremely rude. No body on your care team ever has an answer to any question you ask, from results of a lab test or where the nearest restrooms are: useless. The facilities are dirty, and the overall care is abysmal. Why is Urgent Care in Mebane even in business. The wait time to see a doctor is more than 2 hours!!! WHY? If there is not enough doctors, then it should not be open. I had to take my 2-year old after work for allergies and skin out break. The wait was Horrible. We was misable. I think it should be against the law to practice under these poor circumstances!

The great: AMC has an awesome birthing center The horrible: The billing offices are full of utterly incompetent staff. For no logical reason they refuse to provide basic forms to insurance that will let us pay our bill on time. This has included them telling us to drive to two different locations with a total of over a hundred miles driven only to find out that the forms are not available to the public.
