I am a RN but found myself on the other end as a patient approximately 6 months ago. I work at a different healthcare system & have their insurance that will pay only if I go to a facility by my employer. (After all this, it ended up since it was an emergent visit & I was admitted, my insurance paid! Whew!) However, I live just minutes from ARMC. Absolutely ridiculous to wait over 7 hours to never see a doctor for chest pains...worst experience

This is a ridiculous mess. The ER clerks are sleeping. The people in the waiting room have been here 4 hours and still haven’t seen a triage nurse. They need to just close down. The ER people are getting paid to come to work and do nothing.

I was sent over by my doctor because my temperature was almost 104. I feel like pure death and they have told us that the average wait time was 7 hours. I could be dead by now....
