I’ve been in the ER for 10.5 hours with my brother who is having extreme abdominal pain. He’s not getting any relief. I understand more server patients come first but 10.5 hours and we haven’t been seen that is NOT OK! I’ve been told that there are no rooms, every 2 hours I check again For wait and I’m told they can’t see a list of who’s next. I ask again and now we are told there is only 1 doctor and 1 PA. I have never seen a more unprofessional emergency room department. I have been waiting for my son to be seen for three hours. I have witnessed staff on their cell phones visiting and talking the entire time I have been here. One young nurse came out for at least 30 minutes to sit beside the young officer on duty and flirt/talk with him. It was my understanding that a hospital's focus should be on its patients. RecommendedDoctors are all wonderful, all the staff wonderful also, they spend time and are really thorough, never have to wait very long to be seen, they make sure to go over everything with the kids so they understand, all the Doctors are gifted with a sense of humor, best care ever.
