I have had nothing but troubles every step of the way with this bank, and all I have here is a simple checking account. Horrible hours, horrible management, horrible policy. This place is so ridiculous It's like you're banking directly with the federal government.
My ex wife was trying to make my son and I homeless, out of spite and greed. Kim Rogers understood the severity of our situation and went far beyond what is normally expected of her, to save our home. On my son's 12th birthday, I was able to give him the best gift ever. We were going to keep our home.
I am switching banks. The customer service awful.
We were with Peoples Bank for 20 years with NO issues. As soon as Community Banks of Colorado took over - our automatic Mortgage payment was lost. It is not there fault and they will not accept any responsibility for it. They did do a stop payment on their check - but we are responsible for the late payment - that never should have been late. I understand why so many people in Monument are leaving Community Banks of Colorado. We will be leaving the bank very shortly. Horrible way to do business and treat customers.
Bev Dannatt was very professional and knowledge. She was personable, honest and trustworthy. She was prompt in answering phone calls and emails. She kept me well informed throughout the entire process of purchasing home. I was also pleased with reception when I went to the office to sign paperwork. It was a very hospitable atmosphere. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the services.
Bought out Peoples bank. People's was great. Now, call center on hold (President's message tells us how great the service is while we wait). Not sure I can even call a local branch. At least 20 attempts so far. Always get bumped to a call center. Years of online data gone, not even an old statement. When asked what to do, we're told to call the branch (endless loop to call center). Wouldn't have had no data online problem with Wells Fargo, who I left for this type of service. Time to go back I guess.....
Community banks bought out my old bank along with my mortgage and home equity loan. They refuse to offer online banking for loans, only checking/savings. They also refused to set up an auto pay on the phone, and recommended that I drop off my mortgage check each month at a local bank. This is beyond inconvenient, especially to somebody who didn't want to bank with you in the first place, what an absolute joke.
my bank was also just purchased by this bank - so far not impressed - fees for so much - checking fees - and now I find I am being charged a fee to go online and move money from one of my checking accounts to another :( to the amount of 6.00?? and one time 7.95?? AND oh my gosh try to call - am on terminal HOLD - am NOT a happy transfer customer thus far
