Good food, but don't expect an intimate chat – I've been to Comme Ca a three times now and have to say that I think the food is quite good. I've ordered difference dishes each time and find the menu and true to a french bistrot (albeit a pricey one). The escargots are garlicky and excellent. The duck confit, which I noticed was not on the menu when I went recently, was well seasoned and nicely prepared - mixed with spaetzle. The halibut with pea shoots I ordered last time was excellent. The only mediocre dish was my husband'... read more

Food very mediocre – The food for their brunch is mediocre. Their service is horrendous. They should stop hiring wanna be actors as servers. Or at least train them on how to serve the customers. Of all your choices in los angeles, do not pick this one.

GREAT SERVICE, GREAT FOOD, GREAT GREAT DRINKS, GREAT ATMOSPHERE!!!!! – My fiance and I went in last minute on a Saturday night and we had the best experience. It all starts with the great drinks at the bar while waiting for your table. We got seated actually very close to the people next to us and ended up just joining tables for an impromptu double date! Barrett is exceptional!!!! His service, attitude, and recommendations were all spot on and he truly made this dining night an experience to always remember. The food was gr... read more

Heavy French Food! – If you don't mind the loud noise that bounces off the walls...then this is the place to eat, drink, and enjoy good French food. The bone marrow is a must! The Mussels are excellent.!..Our entire party had a wonderful meal...buttery scallops....fresh whole fish....and rich lamb shank....if you can handle the cholestol it's well worth going down this gluttonous road...only prob....the Wine List Is Limited!! not enough selections and not too many great wines for a location like this....i brought my own bott... read more

I HEART Comme Ca – I really do! Def reccomend reservations because it is ALWAYS super busy but the staff is very cool they know the menu and always give me wonderful reccomendations. I think the most unique part of Comme Ca are the cocktails. There is literally nothing like them in Los Angeles. I sometimes grab after work drinks there with the ladies, just sit at the bar. The bartenders are so sweet and obviously have mastered their skill. Fascinating to watch them tend bar, they are down right passionate about it! Very cool... read more

Don't Bother – I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but was disappointed with it in the end. The $14 cocktails were painfully small and the absence of a bread plate and/or butter knife is just annoying. I had the escargot to start - they were actually quite exceptional - no complaints there. Had the duck confit for my entree. Really bad. The duck was prepared perfectly, but the spatzle was unbelievably dry and there was an overwhelming amount of cranberry (or some dried fruit?) which overpowered the whole ... read more

AVOID. For the money, worst burger in town. – After numerous posts re: the burger and food over all at Comme Ca, I tried it for lunch. Not my kind of room. Stark black and white interior. stainless steel bar, flat metal barstools, and I really don't like the shiny plastic chairs. When I was seated I was presented with a warm mini baguette wrapped in brown paper and a small ramekin of hard cold butter. No bread plates. Iced tea arrived cloudy, below average. First the soup. It looked very nice in a traditional semi-spherical ... read more
